Richard Tessier serves as Coveo's Senior Vice President of Products. With over 15 years of experience in the search industry, Richard has a keen understanding of client needs related to search products and has applied this knowledge to developing award-winning products that fulfill those needs in innovative ways.
Prior to his role at Coveo, Richard was Director of Software Development at Copernic, an early leader in desktop search, where he oversaw the enterprise software division. In 2004, he played a key role in the successful spin-off of this division into what is now Coveo.

Richard received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Laval University in Quebec. He lives in Quebec with his wife and three daughters. Richard enjoys sports and the outdoors and plays tennis and basketball and enjoys backpacking and snowshoeing trips across Quebec's backcountry.
