Rick Kochhar is the former SVP and CDO for TD Bank Group. Kochhar was accountable for delivering a unified approach to leverage data assets to achieve the group’s strategic objectives.

Kochhar has spent more than 25 years in strategic activities in financial services as well as other industries. He has held executive positions at financial services firms such as Wachovia and Capital One, as well as other organizations such as Eli Lilly & Company, Hughes Information Technology Systems and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.

In a diverse career, Kochhar has produced oil, built airplanes, launched satellite data systems, tracked nuclear waste, researched nuclear fusion, helped predict hurricanes, developed drugs and made sure at-risk kids received their meals.

Kochhar holds a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in chemical engineering from The University of Texas.
