Rick Scanlon is a Partner of Marker and has been with the firm since its inception in 2011. Rick joined Marker after he returned to the U.S. from Singapore, where he lived for more than 15 years. In 2003 while in Singapore, Rick co-founded Crescent Point Group, an Asian private equity firm, and served as a Managing Partner of the firm until 2011.

Rick’s first investment was leading the Series A round of AirAsia, a company that went on to achieve extraordinary success by making flying possible for everyone in Asia. Prior to Crescent Point, he was employed in the investment banking departments of Morgan Stanley, First Boston and Credit Suisse in New York, Singapore and Beijing. Rick holds a BA (cum laude) from Middlebury College where he studied Art and Physics. He serves on the Middlebury College Board of Trustees.
