Ron Johnson is the CEO of ENJOY, which he founded in 2014. Prior to ENJOY,Ron served as CEO of JC Penney. From 2000 to 2012, Ron was on the Executive Committee at Apple and led Apple Retail. Apple stores are widely recognized as the world’s most successful retail operation with nearly 400 locations in 13 countries.


From 1984 to 2000 Ron worked for Target Corporation in a variety of merchandising leadership roles. As Senior Vice President of Merchandising, Ron worked to bring good design to Target, and is credited with establishing Target as the nation’s leading upscale discount store chain.

Ron received his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1984 and his Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University in 1980. Ron is an active volunteer serving as a Trustee at Stanford University, as Vice Chair of Stanford Health Care and as Co-Chair of the Campaign for Stanford Medicine. Ron is also a Board Member of The Melt, Nasty Gal, Honor and is an advisor to many startups in the emerging technology and retail spaces.
Ron lives in the Bay Area with his spouse Karen and has two children.
