Rouven Dresselhaus is Managing Partner at Cavalry Ventures, a venture capital fund he co-founded in 2016. In this role, he has made investments in startups such as McMakler and Forto and also serves on numerous boards, including Planetly, Bryter and Sofia.

Dresselhaus started his career at Morten Sondergaard and then moved to Capnamic Ventures. In parallel, as a member of the advisory board, he steered Joseph Dresselhaus GmbH & Co. KG, a family business with annual sales of 220 million euros, and was instrumental in the sale of the company to the Dutch industrial holding company Nimbus.

Dresselhaus has invested in more than three dozen start-ups and is chairman of the advisory board at Blutsgeschwister. He is a member of YPO, a global community of chief executives.
