Ryan is the co-founder and CEO of Artie, a platform for next-gen games powered by AI.

Artie enables developers to create and distribute hyper-personalized games where players interact with game characters via voice and computer vision. All of the games on our cloud-based platform can be shared and played instantly inside of popular apps, including Instagram, Snapchat, and YouTube, with no download needed.

For our launch titles, we are partnering with global entertainment studios, superstar athletes, and A-list music artists. We will be opening our platform to third-party developers in early 2020.

Our team includes AI scientists, engineers, and technical artists from Disney, DreamWorks Animation, Snap, Facebook, Mozilla, Playtika, WayForward, and Carbonated Games.

Early investors include Founders Fund, Warner Music Group, Scooter Braun’s Raised in Space, Jeffrey Katzenberg’s WndrCo, angel investor Cyan Banister, and YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley.

Prior to co-founding Artie, Ryan served as Chief Content Officer of the Comcast-backed immersive media startup Felix & Paul Studios, where he oversaw content and business development, strategy and partnerships.

At Felix & Paul, Ryan helped forge numerous partnerships with Fortune 500 companies and media conglomerates including Facebook, Google, Samsung, Fox and Comcast, and worked on projects with top brands and A-list talent such as NASA, Cirque du Soleil, President Obama, LeBron James, Wes Anderson, Judd Apatow, and Brie Larson.

In 2018, Ryan and the Felix & Paul team won an Emmy for ‘The People’s House,” featuring President Barack Obama, as well as a Peabody for immersive comedy experience “Miyubi.”

Prior to Felix & Paul, Ryan was a studio executive at Fox/New Regency, where he oversaw films including Academy Award Best Picture Winner “12 Years A Slave.” He began his career in the Motion Picture department at CAA, and at Paramount.

Ryan has spoken at Ted X, Cannes, Facebook, Google, Sundance, SXSW and throughout China. He was a Hollywood Reporter 35 Under 35 honoree. He lives in Los Angeles, California
