Purposeful leader with a passion for people and believes in the power of 'We' and power of 'Culture'; Safia Agueni heads the Digital governance at Novartis company in Switzerland. She studied computer sciences and her professional background spans in large corporate organizations at local affiliate and global level, 20 years’ experience, 15 in Pharmaceutical industry. Dynamic and inspirational leader experienced in managing multifunctional and diverse teams, adept at mobilizing people with strong communication and influential skills, her experience includes setting and implementing strategies, development of pragmatic and scalable technical solutions while driving the change management process.

She’s French with origins from Algeria where she was born, she grew up in a culture where girls don’t have the same ‘rights’ as boys which brought her to some personal challenges and that quickly raised in her a strong motivation in engaging for gender diversity... She actively engaged in MARC (Men Advocating for Real Change) for creating a more inclusive working place for women by empowering leaders to act as change advocates.
