Saleena Goel (New York) joined KKR in 2010 and is focused on specialized products and services. Prior to joining KKR, Ms. Goel founded Goel Capital Partners where she advised sovereign wealth funds and other limited and general partnerships. Ms. Goel spent approximately 5 years as a senior member of AlpInvest Partners, investing over $4 billion in funds across private asset classes including buyout, distressed debt, mezzanine, and venture capital. At AlpInvest, she held over 20 advisory board seats, including KKR. Prior to AlpInvest, Ms. Goel was a vice-president at Capital Z Investment Partners where she seeded new managers primarily in the U.S. and Asia. Ms. Goel also invested directly in private equity and venture capital investments at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Atlas Venture, respectively. Ms. Goel holds a B.A., summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Michigan and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
