Sandra is the CEO and Founder of TrademarkVision, a disruptive startup doing visual brand protection. TrademarkVision is the world's best visual search engine for trademarks and logos based on proprietary image recognition technology. TrademarkVision services are trusted globally by governments and trademark attorneys alike. Sandra also sits on INTA's Design Rights Committee as an industry leader and advisor.

She has over 9 years experience and leadership in productizing research and development. Prior to this startup, Sandra was a Senior Computer Vision Research Engineer at NICTA doing R&D in computer vision, machine learning, and mobile projects. Additionally, she consulted for the government on the areas of advancing technologies. She has also worked professionally as a Commercialisation Analyst in technology transfer where she helped researchers protect their IP and commercialize their innovation.

Sandra is very active in supporting the local tech community. She was the Founding Chair of IEEE QLD Women in Engineering, a speaker at several Women in Leadership forums, and listed as one of Australia's Top 50 Female Programmers by Pollenizer 2014, and one of Australia's Top 100 Most Influential Engineers by Engineer's Australia 2015 (http://engineerstop100.realviewtechnologies.com/). She's also a regular participant in hackathons including past GovHacks and International Women's Day.

She holds a Masters in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University, a Bachelors in Engineering Science (Aerospace) from University of Toronto, and an MBA from QUT.
