Sarah Karthigan is the Global AI Executive in ExxonMobil IT. She leads a team of data scientists that work on a diverse portfolio of opportunities across the integrated value chain. She started her career at ExxonMobil 10 years ago, holding various roles in the areas of strategic planning, project management, scientific computing and analytics. As part of her current role, she is also responsible for managing external relationships with multiple technical business partners.

She is a strong advocate for STEM programs and has led multiple science ambassador initiatives. She was awarded the Tribute to Women & Industry (TWIN) award that honors women who have excelled in their field and made significant contributions to industry in executive, managerial and professional roles. She is also a member of an internal inclusion & diversity council at ExxonMobil.
