Scott Bookmyer (Hong Kong) is the Chief Operating Officer of KKR Asia. He oversees the core elements of KKR’s Asia business operations and various strategic initiatives. He serves on both the Asian Private Equity and China Growth Fund Investment Committees. Mr. Bookmyer is also the local Chairman of the Asia Portfolio Management Committee. In those capacities he actively engages with deal and management teams on due diligence and post investment support and monitoring. He originally joined KKR Capstone in 2002 and supported operational improvements in KKR’s North American and then Asian private equity portfolio. He was most recently Head of KKR Capstone Asia until his transition to KKR Asia in 2014. Prior to KKR, he worked in brand management at Procter & Gamble and was a management consultant for The Boston Consulting Group in the U.S. and Europe. He holds a B.A. with honors from Indiana University and an M.B.A. from The University of Chicago.
