Sean Turner is Co-Founder and CTO of Swiftly, a technology platform for supermarkets that brings the advantages of e-commerce to brick and mortar stores.
Sean has extensive experience building and scaling engineering teams. Before founding Swiftly, Sean served as Head of Product for Symphony Commerce, where he was responsible for building the e-commerce platform that enabled leading consumer packaged goods brands to establish thriving direct to consumer businesses. Prior to Symphony, Sean held various software development and technical leadership positions at Microsoft, where he was responsible for products including Bing Product Ads, Cortana’s Speech Recognition, and the News App for Windows 8. While at Microsoft, Sean also built the Starbucks mobile payment experience on Windows Phone.
Sean holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Southern California. He is based in Seattle.
