Shahbaz Khan joined Investcorp in 2009. Shahbaz spent the previous 13 years in the GCC working with SHUAA Capital in Dubai as Executive Director of Legal Affairs and with the regional law firm, Al Tamimi & Company as Senior Counsel.

Prior to that he worked in the US with Phoenix Home Life Mutual Insurance Company (now a part of The Phoenix Companies Inc.) and Travelers Group.

Shahbaz holds a Juris Doctorate degree from Albany Law School of Union University, New York and a BA in Political Science from the University of Rochester, also in New York.
