In her current role, Ms. Bhushan is responsible for all aspects of firm’s legal and regulatory requirements. She assists business people in negotiating legal aspects of major transactions and manages all legal advisory work pertaining to project acquisitions, post transaction management and general corporate governance issues.

Prior to joining Essel Finance, she has worked with premium law firms in India, viz., Economic Laws Practice and Thakker & Thakker where she assisted and advised several multinationals on various corporate and commercial transactions especially in the areas of private equity, venture capital fund investments, mergers and acquisitions, capital market, financial services and outsourcing issues.

With over 13 years of experience, Ms. Bhushan provides practical legal and business advice with regard to a wide variety of issues involved in corporate operations, regulatory mechanisms and transaction structuring.

Ms. Bhushan is qualified to practice law in India. She graduated in law from Government Law College, University of Mumbai and holds a LLM from Mumbai University. She is also a qualified Company Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
