Sophie Kim is the Founder and CEO of Kurly, one of the largest and fastest growing dedicated online grocers in South Korea. Kurly aspires to become a destination for anyone who wishes to live well by eating and consuming well. Out of many innovations Kurly introduced to market, Kurly is most famous for its unique cold chain delivery system called “morning star delivery”, through which customers can order from more than 7,000 SKUs ranging from artisan cheeses from France to freshly harvested strawberries by 11pm and have them delivered by 7am. Previously, Ms. Kim spent 10 years working for Goldman Sachs, McKinsey and Temasek as an investment banker and consultant.
