Stefano Polimeno is currently Telepass Pay Product Manager at TELEPASS S.p.A., the leading global tolling solution, part of the Atlantia Group, which is the European Leader within the Infrastructure Sector. Previously, Stefano was the Head of Business Development for URBI, a sharing mobility aggregator that allows people to find and book the best solution to reach a destination comparing all available options: car, scooter and bike sharing as well as taxis and ride sharing. URBI is now part of the TELEPASS Group.Moreover, Stefano, as GoBee.Bike's Country Manager for Italy, was responsible for the launch of GoBee.Bike in Europe and Italy. GoBee is a free-floating bike sharing Company, that has the ambition of becoming the Global Leader, outside of China. Polimeno was the Managing Director of Jumia Classifieds in Ethiopia, Uganda and Rwanda. He has also supported Jumia’s (first African Unicorn, backed also by Rocket Internet, MTN and Goldman Sachs) operations in Accra, Ghana. In 2015, he co-founded Everjobs in Addis Ababa, with the support of Rocket Internet. Before moving to Africa, Stefano worked always for Rocket Internet, in Cambodia, launching the Foodpanda.com (now part of the Delivery Hero Group) operations in Phnom Penh. Moreover, Stefano was previously an Analyst at Nielsen, the main Global Market Research and Marketing Consulting Institution, in their Milan Offices. Since July 2018, he also supports the development of the IULM Innovation Lab, sponsored by the IULM University of Milan. Also for this reason, Polimeno is Advisor of VOLVERO, a blockchain-based peer-to-peer car sharing solution. Stefano holds 3 Master Degrees, all in the field of Business and Management: one from ESCP Europe Business School, France; one from City University of London, UK; and one from the University of Turin, Italy. He declares to be passionate about the impact that new technologies and services can have on people’s everyday life.
