Stephen Evans joined Silver Lake in 2008 and is a ManagingDirector. Prior to joining Silver Lake, Mr. Evans was a Principal at Cognetas, a European mid-market private equity firm. At Cognetas, Mr. Evans focused on transactions across a variety of service sectors, including business services, information services, and construction and utility services. Previously, Mr. Evans spent five years at Bain & Company. In his time at Bain & Company, Mr. Evans advised clients in Europe and the US across a variety of industries and also spent two years in Bain's Private Equity group. Mr. Evans holds an M.A and an M.Phil from Cambridge University, and an M.B.A from Harvard Business School.
