Steve Mann joined Blueberry as Co-Founder and CTO in 2020.Steve Mann completed his PhD at the Massachusetts Intstitute of Technology (MIT), where he founded the wearable computing group as a part of the MIT Media Lab. It was at MIT that Professor Mann further built upon his interest in personal imaging through his work with photography pioneer Doctor Harold Edgerton , inventor of the electronic flash and stroboscope. Professor Mann is considered by many to be the inventor of the WearComp (wearable computer) and WearCam (EyeTap and reality mediator). He is currently the acting director of the EyeTap Personal Imaging (ePI) Lab at the University of Toronto. He is also the Chief Technical Advisor of VisionerTech.
