In July 2008 Steve Morin joined Permuto (Stealth startup), leaving his post of Sr Technical Yahoo! at Mobile Search Marketing.

In the Fall of 2011 Steve Morin became the VP of Product Development at Sociocast.

Following Sociocast he moved into consulting eventually becoming the founder and CTO at Nvent Data.

In the Fall of 2017 he join Tripping.com as CTO.

Morin received a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science with a focus on Information Assurance, and currently lives in San Francisco, California.

He has previously lived and worked in Manhattan(NYC), Greenwich Connecticut, Los Angeles and Massachusetts.

He serves as adviser to a number of companies and as a advisory board member of Mixergy base in L.A. Morin is actively involved in with the tech community and has help organize & co-host events, including Lunch 2.0, in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Steve has worked at a number of companies including Yahoo!, Time Warner, NBC and MSNBC. Previously, he founded a number of small web startups.
