Steven is a Partner and Co-Founder of Rebar Capital, a real-estate acquisition and management platform, and is an advisor to ClalTech and its parent company, Access Industries, on its venture investment portfolio. In his role as advisor to ClalTech, Steven is responsible for facilitating the entire investment cycle as well as helping formulate the group's investment strategy.

Previously, Steven was a Principal Investor for Dell Technologies Capital (formerly EMC Ventures), the corporate venture arm for Dell / EMC and its federation of companies, where he was responsible for investments in Israel and Europe. Previously, Steven was a Principal at Vertex Venture Capital where he lead or co-lead over 100 investments across multiple sectors. Earlier in his career, Steven spent 10 years on Wall Street at CIBC World Markets, Schroders, and Sandford Bernstein. In addition to his experience in financial institutions, he worked as a consultant for Booz Allen and co-founded a start-up. Before entering Wall Street, Steven published research as a scientific fellow at Brookhaven National Laboratory.

Steven holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School in New York and received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and a B.A. in Applied Mathematics from SUNY Buffalo. Steven is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
