Susie Gleeson-Byrne is an experienced HR Lead with a broad range of people management and leadership skills, gained in industries as diverse as Technology, Digital Transformation, Entertainment/ Music, and Investment Banking. With a global outlook that stems from many years of successful leadership and consulting experiences in London, Shanghai, the USA and Australia, she seeks first to understand the key drivers of the culture and needs of each organisation she engages with, with a focus on improving employee engagement and delivering value to all stakeholders. An unusual characteristic of her career has been that in almost every role she has had, she has been the first HR Lead in situ for those companies, giving her the freedom to invent and not worry about the “rules”. Outside of Uber, Susie sits on the Board of the Theatre of Image, and consults to several entertainment and tech startups. She in an advocate for Millenials! - the much-maligned generation driving a lot of innovation and new thinking in our economy today.
