Prior to Urban Compass Ugo was the Engineering Lead at Twitter. Before Twitter, Ugo worked at Julpan, where he spent most of his time thinking about the best ways to build scalable, reliable and easily extensible systems. Before Julpan, Ugo gained experience in architecting and implementing high performance applications at Google - where he worked in the Infrastructure team and in the Search Quality team - and before that at GE Homeland Security. Ugo holds a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from University "La Sapienza" of Rome.
