Vasant Balasubramanian is the senior vice president of product management at [MetricStream](https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/metricstream), a solutions provider for quality management, regulatory compliance, risk management, and corporate governance. Previously, he serves the same company as the vice president of product management. At MetricStream, he is responsible for product vision and strategy across the company’s GRC and quality product lines.

In a career spanning over 18 years in technology, Balasubramanian has envisioned, designed, and developed market-leading products. He held senior management positions at Mercury Interactive and InterWeave, where he focused on building innovative and intuitive products.

Balasubramanian holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from IIT, Roorkee and a master’s degree in computer science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
