Victoria brings 15 years of experience in Internet, entrepreneurship, and management in China to her work in the US. She is the Chief Strategy Officer at Raktuen, a Japanese e-commerce and FinTech company. Victoria is responsible for driving key strategic intiatives for Rakuten businesses across North America, Europe, and Asia.Prior to joining Rakuten in 2016, Victoria served as an investment partner at Tencent, a provider of Internet value-added services in China. At Tencent, she also served in various product and strategy leadership roles, including overseeing the corporate strategy for the Online Media Group, leading WeChat’s international expansion in North America, and being an investment partner on Tencent’s Exploration Team.Before Tencent, Victoria was with BCG, The Nature Conservancy, and Monikerwear.com (as a co-founder). Victoria holds an MS in management science from Stanford University, and a BS in chemistry from the University of Science & Technology of China.
