Xun Xu is the Executive Director of HD Map and Localization at WeRide.ai.

He received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), working with Prof. Thomas S. Huang. His master and bachelor degrees were both earned at Tsinghua University. He holds more than 20 US/EU patents awarded or pending and has more than 10 scientific papers published in refereed and world-renowned conference proceedings or journals.
