Zebediah Rice is an entrepreneur and venture capitalist. He has founded or backed dozens of young companies over his career in the technology, clean energy, media and financial services sectors.

In 2000, Zebediah Rice co-founded Angeleno Group, a clean energy venture capital firm. Along with his co-founders he led the firm's growth to ~US$500M AUM. While at Angeleno he focused on leading investments, raising capital, and managing the fund's portfolio companies.

Prior to Angeleno Group, Zebediah Rice worked in corporate venture capital at News Corp in the 1990s. Since then he has been both an entrepreneur (as the founder or co-founder of several companies) and an active participant in civic life. He has served on the board of The Edmund G. “Pat” Brown Institute for Public Affairs (founded by his grandfather, two term California Governor Pat Brown), was on the Finance Committee for the Obama for America 2008 Presidential campaign as well as California Governor Jerry Brown’s 2010 Gubernatorial campaign.

Zebediah Rice received a B.S. Magna Cum Laude in Government and Economics from Bowdoin College.
