Chain of Things (CoT) is a Hong Kong-based blockchain + IoT venture production studio involved in a number of ventures in different industry verticals. These include Maru - an integrated blockchain and IoT hardware solution (HaaS - or hardware as a service solution) to solve IoT's issues with identity, security, and interoperability, Blue Maru - an environmental sensor platform, Solcrypto - a solar data logger, and Blockpass - a mobile identity verification platform for the Internet of Everything - humans, companies, devices and objects. CoT is developing the process of building a Know Your (Connected) Device system to be integrated into Blockpass. The process being developed consists of a standard set of parameters for device KYD and an automated verification system. The KYD or identification system for devices will facilitate renting, sharing and ownership of IoT devices remotely and securely.
