Lilia is a CEO, CMO, Angel Investor, and Board Advisor who drives top line growth and corporate value creation for tech companies.
Lilia advises and invests primarily in enterprise tech companies, with special focus on AI and Data Activation solutions across a broad range of B2B segments.
Past investments include ZineOne (Gartner’s 2018 Cool Vendor for AI-driven streaming data activation), Mirantis, the leading independent open cloud provider, GummiCube, the leader in app store search optimization, full funnel analytics prioneer FullCirlcle Insights, JoyLux, an innovator in women’s intimate wellness, and OtoNexus, which is revolutionizing ear infection diagnoses.

As CEO at The Shirman Group, Lilia has shaped strategies and solutions that generated hundreds of millions in net new revenue for market leaders and growth stage ventures including VMware, EMC, Amazon, Oracle, and Symantec, MongoDB, and Spigit.

Lilia was Managing Director and led the Silicon Valley Ecosystem work at Golden Seeds, one of the largest and most active angel investment networks in the US.

As turnaround CMO at MariaDB, Lilia re-built the company's go-to-market, shifted gears from flat to 75% revenue growth in 10 months, helped on-board a new CEO and prepared the company for a $25M raise.

Lilia has literally written the book on go-to-market for customer relevance, 42 Rules for Growing Enterprise Revenue. She is a mentor at F50 Elevate Accelerator and Stanford University’s Global Entrepreneurial Marketing Program, and has taught entrepreneurial go-to-market at Chalmers University’s Center for Business Innovation.
