Nikunj Handa co-founded Beam Remit, which helps Ghanaians and Nigerians make online payments and access instant and low-cost remittances with the help of the Bitcoin technology.

Nikunj is also a co-founder and CTO at Treatspace and a Technical Teaching Fellow at MEST.

Nikunj did his Bachelors in Information Systems Management and Finance from the Singapore Management University and Carnegie Mellon University.

Prior to joining MEST, he co-founded Treatspace and worked as a Research Engineer at the Singapore Management University. During his time at Treatspace, he developed an interest in startups and has been passionate about them ever since.

Nikunj loves to keep himself updated about the latest technologies and projects and impart this knowledge to the students at the school. He is also passionate about social enterprises and aspires to start his own social enterprise someday. When Nikunj is not busy working, he likes to travel, read and play music.
