Chandra Tjan is the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Alpha JWC Ventures. He has more than 8 years of experience in venture capital business since year 2010, and is known to be the pioneer VC in Indonesia.

Chandra has a successful track record of investing into 50 companies across Asia and the US, including 2 unicorns (Tokopedia and Traveloka) and Spacemob (acquired by WeWork), where he was their first board member. Currently Chandra sits on the board of many leading technology companies in the region, including:

- OnlinePajak
- Carro
- Target Media Nusantara (member of Focus Media China)
- Sepulsa, and many more.
Prior to being a venture capitalist, Chandra had an extensive experience for over 10 years as a banker in top-tiered banks such as Credit Suisse and Citigroup.

Chandra Tjan graduated from University of Sydney with triple majors in finance, economics, and management.
