Dan Maloney is a CEO and entrepreneur with a passion for leading and growing companies that result in meaningful outcomes. He is currently CEO for Zepl, bringing 20 years of high tech experience as a strategic and operational leader for startups and large, multi-national enterprises. Prior to Zepl, Dan was CEO of Perspica, which was the leading AI-Powered Analytics solution for APM in the market, which he sold to Cisco. He also spent the past year as Venture Partner working closely with the incredible team at Sapphire Ventures.

Prior to Perspica, Dan held various senior leadership roles in sales, marketing and business development at SAP and AccelOps, which was a leading-edge actionable security intelligence company helping protect modern networks from cyber threats and attacks which was acquired by Fortinet. During his successful 12-year tenure at SAP, he held a variety of senior executive positions including Global Vice President and General Manager for eCommerce and Digital Business at SAP, where he was responsible for strategy, sales and marketing of eCommerce and digitally-native software, content, education and services sold direct to the consumer via SAP’s digital store. In addition, he was Global Vice President of business development, where he focused on selecting, structuring and enabling SAP’s partnerships for cloud, mobile and analytics software. He also served as Vice President of Strategy and Chief Operating Officer for the SAP Ecosystem.

Before SAP, Dan held several product and go-to-market leadership roles at TopTier Software, Perot Systems (Dell) and HSO Business Systems. He also advises several startup companies around technology and go-to-market strategies. Dan holds a B.S. in management science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
