Gili is a General Partner at Sequoia and the founder of Cyberstarts VC. Prior to joining Sequoia Capital in 2009, Gili was a VP of Strategy at EMC working on key acquisitions. Gili joined EMC through the acquisition of nLayers, a company he founded and ran as CEO since inception. Prior to nLayers, Gili co-founded Sanctum, which was later acquired by IBM. Gili held multiple technical and senior management roles at Amdocs and the IDF. Gili was awarded with the prestigious Presidential Israel Security medal. Gili has a Computer Science & Economy degree from Tel Aviv University and an MBA from the Recanati Business School.
