Nic is a technical leader specializing in highly agile, lean environments. He has a background as a devops hacker before devops was understood as a specific discipline. He codes in Python, Java and various Lisps and speaks emacs and vi.

Nic has been involved in various open source projects, maintains a github for his personal hacks and worked within the Sun JCP on specifying the Servlet specification of Java web components.

Nic is currently a consultant on agile development and infrastructure with ThoughtWorks.
