Patrick leads the growth strategy and venture investment group at Juniper. Juniper is an active and seasoned corporate venture investor with a focus on strategic technologies with large impact potential. Since joining Juniper in 2008, Patrick has led Juniper’s packet optical strategy and has developed the concept of next generation central office. Before joining Juniper, Patrick was a managing director for Detecon a management consulting firm, he also worked for Alcatel, Gluon Networks and U S West. Patrick started his career as a professor at the University of Colorado in Boulder. He holds a Ph.D. in computer science.
